What is your next step?

You need to come say Hello!

Send me an email or use the Contact Form, letting me know:

​

  • How many children

  • Their ages

  • Which days and times you need them to come

  • If you need a full time/term time only/Holiday space

  • If you need a school pick up/which school

​

I will then let you know if I have enough places available to accommodate your needs.  Childminders are limited to the amount of children we can care for at one time.  Usually it is no more than 3 children under the age of 5, with no more than one under one, and no more than 6 under the age of 8.  The number of under 5's may be increased as long as it never goes over 6 in total.

​

Then we can make an appointment for you to visit and we can talk more about your and your child's needs.  For a first visit I prefer it to be after I have finished work.  This is for a number of reasons:​

  • I can concentrate fully on our conversation

  • I don't miss out on time with children present

  • Safeguarding the children present - I don't know who I'm inviting into my home, however lovely I'm sure you are!​

Once you arrive for the visit, after being inspected for suitability by the cat, if she can be bothered, you will have a quick tour around, it won't take long, it's not a big house! 

​

I'll let you have a look over my folders, some photos, my compliments folder, certificates and policies and procedures and then we can have a chat.  I expect you will want to go away and have a think as it is a very big decision to make, so then I will wait to hear from you.  Hopefully you will decide that Lisa's Childminding Service is just what you were looking for and we can then arrange a time to fill in the necessary forms:

  • Childminding Contract

  • Child Information Form

  • Permission Form

  • Starting Points Form

 

This can either be here or at your house, whichever is most convenient.  Your place isn't guaranteed until the contract has been signed and first months fees paid but once that is all done and you walk away with your Welcome Pack,  we're all set for your littlies first day!
